Happy to Eat You

A digital platform project that reduces food waste by connecting local businesses with people interested in buying food that has not been sold during the day. Through a mobile application, restaurants and shops publish food packages at a reduced price, which are reserved in the app and collected at the establishment within the indicated hours. This system allows products in perfect condition to be disposed of that would otherwise end up discarded. The tool also offers digital food vouchers for NGOs and social services, which allow families with fewer resources to buy food in neighbourhood shops without resorting to traditional care circuits. In this way, surpluses are used, small businesses are supported and access to a variety of foods is improved. Encantado de Comerte was part of the Tiina impact investment program in 2022, promoted by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation together with the Ship2B Foundation, which finances and accompanies initiatives with a social impact in sustainable food.
