Socially engaged art
Artistic and educational project born in 2016 that explores sound and listening from critical and technological perspectives. This initiative was founded by Patricia Raijenstein and Jesús Jara López thanks to the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation and its axis Citizen Art. Throughout its history, the school has designed training experiences and projects that integrate electronic music, sound art and experimental practices to expand the accessibility of these musical languages to diverse audiences. His approach challenges conventional models that link electronic music with reduced normative and functional structures. The School of Electrosound Crafts coordinates workshops, resources and collaborations with institutions such as Medialab-Prado, La Casa Encendida, Casa Árabe and Tabakalera, to generate collaborative learning spaces that place active listening as a tool for creation and cultural reflection.
