Network of Spaces and Agents of Community Culture (REACC)

Community culture initiatives in Spain lack shared resources, stable funding and coordination spaces. This project creates a common infrastructure that connects more than 180 groups and professionals, provides work tools and active direct economic support. With the impetus of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, the REACC develops an open repository of resources and experiences, sustains its coordination structure and manages a solidarity fund. The network improves the circulation of knowledge, strengthens cooperation between territories and facilitates the continuity of active initiatives.

Industry Structuring and Tools

The REACC articulates a common space for work between agents of community culture. It organizes meetings, exchange sessions and thematic working groups where methodologies, challenges and solutions are shared. In addition, it makes available to the sector an open repository with practical resources, documented experiences and work tools.

This system facilitates access to useful knowledge and prevents each initiative from having to start from scratch. Community culture is defined as cultural practices developed with the direct participation of the communities where they are created and linked to their social context.

Solidarity Fund and Territorial Action

The solidarity fund provides agile financing to projects without access to stable resources or with urgent needs. This mechanism makes it possible to sustain ongoing activities and respond to specific situations in the territory. The network identifies priorities, launches calls and accompanies beneficiary initiatives. The state structure makes it easier for resources to reach different contexts and improves the visibility of these practices.
