Prado 11

Community-based social and cultural laboratory in Bellvitge, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Promoted by La Fundició and active since 2012 in the semi-basement of a block of flats, the project opens a place to test collective forms of relationship, creation and circulation of culture and knowledge as resources for common use. Open to proposals from the neighborhood and from people and groups interested in cultural democracy and the sustainability of life, Prado 11 articulates collaboration, shared learning and publication of experiences through initiatives such as the Prado 11 Magazine. The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation supported this initiative in 2016 within the Expanded Artistic Education program, in the Citizen Art axis.
