Impact Investing

Tiina

Impact investment programme that prepares, accompanies and finances projects in sustainable food and citizen art in Spain. It is promoted by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation in collaboration with the Ship2B Foundation. Both entities combine financing through impact loans with strategic support, specialized mentoring and access to professional networks. Tiina is aimed at initiatives in operation that seek to consolidate its model and expand its reach. Through this approach, it has supported projects such as Plant on Demand, a digital platform for the management of agri-food producers; Urban Green Club, an urban agriculture cooperative with community impact, or Empower Parents, focused on cultural accessibility for people with autism.

A model that combines support and investment

Tiina is organized in two phases. The first is a period of intensive accompaniment in which up to 15 projects participate per call. Ship2B leads the diagnosis of the business model, impact and team, and develops a training and mentoring itinerary aimed at improving readiness for investment.

In the second phase, a small group of initiatives access financing through loans of between 50,000 and 100,000 euros, from the fund promoted by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation. These entities continue to provide personalized support to reinforce their consolidation and growth.

Diversity of projects and areas of action

The funded initiatives reflect the diversity of the impact ecosystem in Spain. Under the Sustainable Food axis, projects such as Ecocentral, focused on the distribution of organic food, or Fundación Mescladís, which links sustainable catering and social inclusion, stand out. In Citizen Art, the programme has supported proposals such as Aulafilm, aimed at audiovisual education, or ConArte Internacional, which promotes access to culture in educational contexts.

An articulated support ecosystem

The program is based on the complementarity between both entities. Ship2B articulates technical support and connection with a network of mentors and agents of the impact ecosystem. The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation provides funding and links the projects with their strategic lines.

This combination allows projects to access financial resources, expertise, and collaboration opportunities in a single environment.
