Purpose of the programme and strategic context
Sustentta accompanies Spanish agri-food cooperatives interested in consolidating practices consistent with sustainable food. The programme responds to the need to equip these organisations with technical and strategic tools to design their own sustainable transition roadmaps.
Its design is inscribed in a context in which the European public policies promote the sustainability of food systems and in which Cooperatives they perform structural functions in rural areas.
Organization and modality of accompaniment
The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation and Red2Red share the responsibility of coordinating the call, selection and technical support to the cooperatives.
The programme is structured around individual components adapted to each entity, together with collective activities that generate spaces for exchange and learning between participants.
